What’s new in this update?

Many recent reports suggest that this Meta-owned platform unfolds a new user interface for the app settings for iOS Beta testers.

To access this update, you need to install the updated version 2.23.18.7. Restarting the app will show a new entry that shows the profile photo at the top app bar. This section is referred to as “You” with some new icons with additional features including privacy settings, a contact list, and our profile, as mentioned in the reports.

Not only this, you’ll also notice the shortcut just above the profile photo which allows users to share or view their WhatsApp QR code. This includes new icons and delivers an impeccable user experience

This new interface for the settings section is expected to be rolled out soon for all WhatsApp users.

The new updates allow users to create groups without naming them. It has been disclosed that WhatsApp now allows app users to create groups without the basic requirement of naming them.
